Culinary Expertise

Meet Chef David Dalton

Chef David Dalton, a native of Northern Michigan, comes with an abundance of experience.  He started his culinary career while still in high school working in a local steakhouse in his hometown.  It was then that he fell in love with the hospitality industry.  Immediately after high school Chef David relocated to the Grand Rapids area where he attended the Secchia Institute for Culinary Arts at Grand Rapids Community College.  After graduating Chef David had the opportunity to assist in opening a prominent local restaurant while working as the Sous Chef.  A few years later Chef David was presented with an opportunity to travel to Europe.  It was there that he studied and worked under multiple Chefs in Michelin Star restaurants.  This once-in-a-lifetime experience allowed Chef David to gain diversity in food and culture.  Since returning to the US and Michigan, Chef David has spent the remainder of his career as the Executive Chef in fine dining establishments and private clubs.  When not in the kitchen, Chef David dedicates his time ensuring that the customers are getting the best possible dining experience.  If you see Chef David wandering about the dining room, do not hesitate to stop him to say hello!
